Outside my window…
the sun is out and it's going to be another hot day. We had record-breaking temperatures yesterday. I'm going to stay inside with the baby today come out when the sun goes down.
I am thankful for…
My family and my Catholic faith
To live the Liturgy…
We will be celebrating 3 great feast days this week; St. Luis Marie De Montfort, St. Catherine of Sienna and St. Joseph the Worker.
I am praying…
a novena to St. Joseph for our daughter Adrianna. I'm hoping she'll be able to find another job this summer to help pay for her Fall classes.
From the schoolroom…
all bout birds, rocks and writing out 9th grade Seton lesson plans.
From the kitchen…
leftover smoked chicken from yesterday's cookout. I think I'm going to make a chicken salad for dinner since it's going to be so hot today.
I am creating…
more lesson plans for the kids. Someday I hope to come up with the perfect lesson plan that fits with the different learning styles of each of my kids.
I am going…
to catch up with laundry sometime today. I wish I could get myself organized enough to always be on top of it.
I am wearing…
my Eeyore pajamas. I didn't make it to Mass this morning, so today might be a pajama day, at least until after lunch.
I am reading…
Divine Intimacy; Raising Our Children, Raising Ourselves; Connection Parenting.
I am hoping…
to help my daughter with her Seton syllabus. It's very overwhelming, but my oldest daughter did Seton in high school, so hopefully, she'll help us through it.
I am hearing…
the air conditioning running. Yes, it's on already. I can lower the thermostat in the winter, but I'm a wimp in the summer months.
Around the house…
a cute little baby girl getting into everything!!!
One of my favorite things…
spending one on one time with each of my children. I don't get to do that enough.
A few plans for the rest of the week…
Joseph's 11th birthday tomorrow. We're going to 7 am Mass and then maybe we'll go bowling before lunch.
A Picture thought I'm sharing…
our beautiful house. I'm sitting on the grass holding our precious baby girl.

Prayers for a good week for you, dear Ruth!! I love the picture of you in front of your home.. It is lovely!! I wish you lived closer–I am starting to dabble a bit in perennial gardening and could use your expertise!
Hugs!
Your house looks beautiful. I need to get back into Divine Intimacy- the meditations are so deep and rich. I had put it aside for other Lenten reading-want to pick it up now that that’s done.
God Bless!
